Pic of the Day: July 25

The star of the show here is Żubrówka, or Bison Grass Vodka. Banned in the US for containing the allegedly toxic compound coumarin, we were not able to independently verify any negative effects from its consumption.

As Sr. Brad, in for the weekend from Prague, explains, it is a particularly fine pairing with apple juice, but black currant is a reasonable substitute.  Or, thanks to its subtle vanilla hints, just dandy all by itself.

This shot also gives you a glimpse into our cute little loft studio.  Upstairs is the sleeping area with 4 foot ceilings–no major head injuries so far.

As to why we are flashing low-denomination Polish złoty bills in an effort to inject some kind of illicit thrill to the picture, I’m guessing Żubrówka might be part of the answer.
