OMG! This is the worst picture of the beautiful University of Cape Town ever.
Not having the presence of mind to take a picture during our master’s students seminar (featuring two hours of you-know-who), and too genteel to bring out the camera during lunch at the faculty club, I had to settle for a closed-down department at the end of a long and interesting day.
The faculty I met there have seen history being made–from the end of apartheid, to supervising students like African astronaut and Ubuntu Linux god Mark Shuttleworth. UCT has the only African MBA in the Financial Times Global 100, so they’re doing something right.
