As connoisseurs of great ocean views, we snapped this picture of southern Victoria to compare its Antarctic/Indian beauty against our Pacific and Atlantic favorites. Offshore is the Bass Strait, legendary for its rough waters. In the old days, it played a role similar to the Bermuda Triangle, with stories of strange disappearances and even a UFO or two. Looks sedate enough on this idyllic afternoon in late spring.
